In 07/06/2010 TV1 shot of Russian poker tour in Kiev Ukraine. For the construction of the decor, lighting and stage, three days were needed because while playing and tournament. The UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship 2010 Final Tournament was held in Macedonia between 24 May and 5 June 2010. Players born after 1 January 1991 was eligible to participate in this competition. Tv 1 was invited by Eurosport to shoot semi final and final matches with 8 camera’s HD OB Truck and a team of engineers, operators and director. Championship was broadcast via satellite with HD DSNG in format MPEG4 H-264.

For one night only, metalheads around the world was experience history: On Tuesday, June 22, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax perform for firs time on one stage together, and through the wonders of satellite technology broadcast from TV1 HD DSNG live in movie theaters around the world.
TV1 has engaged two months before the event put to reflect this unforgettable event with the help of two HD DSNG. One station broadcasting for Europe and through a worldwide relay and the other directly for over 1000 cinemas in USA. Audio was Dolby Digital.

TV1 was chosen to cover the spectacular concert broadcasted in all Balkan countries for 18 televisions including BNT, Balkanika, А1, PINK, etc. The event was shot with 11 cameras and broadcasted via two satellite stations in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 formats.

The last concert of the Concertmasters series for 2009-2010 season took place in Bulgaria Hall on 18.05.2010 starting at 19.30 pm. The violinist Mila Georgieva, recognized as a wonderkid years ago, closed the event by performing Chaikovski’s concerto for violin and orchestra. The young artist’s stage partners were the musicians from the Classic FM М-Tel Orchestra and the conductor Grigor Palikarov.
As usual TV1 shot the event in HD. The TV 1 team has been covering a number of concerts and shows for the last 6 months and it can be proud of the greatest of collection valuable music recorded in High Definition format.

TV1 covered the grand show of crowning Miss Bulgaria 2010. The beauty contest was attended by 18 candidates for the title from all over Bulgaria. The event was covered with 8 Portable TV stations and one 15m crane pantograph. The production was directed by Silvester Lolov.

Serbian singer Jelko Yoksimovich won the top prize of the first Balkan Music Awards presented in the Bulgarian capital Sofia late Sunday night.
The Balkan Music Awards are organized by the Bulgarian-owned Balkanika Music Television, a cable and satellite television showing music from all Balkan countries.
The award ceremony was actually a concert open to the public that took place on the Alexander Batenberg Square in downtown Sofia, which attracted thousands of spectators despite the pouring rain.

On 25th April for the first time in its history NDK Hall 1 was home to a real musical water show! Water, the main theme of the Annual Music Awards of BG RADIO this year, was pouring out of every corner of the stage. A real waterfall, fountains and cascades were springing form NDK, where BG RADIO gave its valuable microphones awards following its audience voting.
For yet another year TV1 filmed the impressive show. Maria Ilieva, Deep Zone, Avenue, Galya, Milena and others took part in it. The event was shot in HD with an eight-camera OB Truck by the professional team of TV1. The concert broadcasted on BTV was directed by Atanas Genov.

Best Model of the World 2009

This year from 2nd to 12th of December 2009 the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia, will host “Best Model of the World” 2009, which is one the few licensed competitions for professional models in the world. Over 100 top models from over 60 countries will arrive, in order to demonstrate their professional skills. They will present fashion collections from 15 of the most well known fashion houses. The event will host very competent jury, as well as 40 journalists from all over the world. The competition will be lead under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and it will be listed in the cultural bill for the month of December.

The owner of the license for the beauty competition is “San Production” which is created in 1996 with its headquarters in Sofia. Its main goal, with which the company has made its name, is in the television show business, as well as in organizing gala spectacles for variety, beauty pageants, and talent shows. Right from its creation the company is the official representative of the competition - “Best model of Bulgaria”
TV1 Production Company is hired from the organizers to be responsible for the television realization of the biggest fashion event in Bulgaria for 2009. The competition will be shot with nine cameras and aired in 4 continents with a turnaround using 5 different satellites.
